We are back on the grid! August seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye. Summer’s close to over. School starts anew this week. And the Pande menus are back on track. Here we go.
Several interesting items from our CSA, including tomatillos, and lots of tomatoes to get eaten up. Already made fried green tomatoes. This recipe was pretty good for a first try!
Monday: Back to the world’s best slow cooker short ribs; crusty bread; sautéed peas.
Tuesday: Roast chicken with fresh thyme; sautéed fresh pole beans; simple salad.
Wednesday: Angel hair pasta with anchovies and garlic; cucumber and tomato salad.
Thursday: Shrimp tacos; tomatillo salsa.
Friday: Going Indian… Rice; Daal; Kheema; Raita.
