this week’s menu – BBQ ribs and more!

It’s game day in New England! And we are proud Pats fans here (sincere apologies to my brethren on the west coast and the DC area and friends in Atlanta…).

So in the spirit of game day, I am, for the first time ever, making ribs!

Sunday: BBQ ribs for the games!! I am using this ‘best oven-baked ribs’ recipe, but in an adulterated fashion (that is, I bought a rub and am not making homemade BBQ sauce). They are in the oven RIGHT NOW and smell fabulous.

Monday:

Tuesday: Taco Tuesday. We’re back. Plenty of fresh guacamole on the side.

Wednesday: 

  • Ginger scallion noodles with tofu
  • Potstickers (We didn’t end up making dim sum last week from Suma’s menu. AND… I have to admit that Sonia and I were swayed by some tasty wonton bites at Costco)
  • White rice

Thursday:

Friday: 

  • Sauteed garlicky shrimp
  • Roasted eggplant
  • White rice
